Many Independent Schools set and manage their own Examinations. Grey Matters Consultants and Tutors will provide clarity and support your child in this process.
There aren’t huge differences between the exam boards. Some very selective independent schools, such as Eton, Harrow and Westminster will use the examinations to differentiate and identify only the most academically able students.
Fundamentally all examinations will be testing the core principles of Mathematics, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Some will also test Scientific understanding and Problem Solving.
